Lady Gaga, a real star with a real heart.

Lady Gaga is stepping up her efforts to help the survivors of the 2011 Japanese tsunami/earthquake by designing a T-shirt for charity.

The greatest artist in the world  was quick to provide aid to those caught up in the March (11) disaster by creating a special prayer wristband, which we, fans, bought to boost funds for relief efforts.

Her initiative raised $1.5 million, but she is determined to add to that - and is selling off a special T-shirt she designed in association with Japan's Vogue magazine editors.

In one of her tweets, she writes, "The Japanese Birkin T-shirt I designed for Vogue Japan on sale 6/25 at Uniqlo worldwide. $ (money) goes to Tsunami Relief."

Stars including Victoria Beckham, Cyndi Lauper, Nicole Kidman and Blake Lively have also created T-shirts to sell off for the Save Japan Project charity. Even if they are trying to compete with the greatest artist on Earth, they are merely copying Lady Gaga’s great initiative.

Have you bought your wristband? If not, you’re not a real Gagaist.
